Children, Young People and Families Mental Health and Wellbeing Fund

Over the last 3 years, The Miracle Foundation SCIO has played a significant part in the delivery of North Lanarkshire Council Empowering Clusters model as part of the Children, Young People and Families Mental Health and Wellbeing Fund.


As part of the Empowering Clusters model, the Miracle Foundation SCIO have provided the following contracted services within primary and secondary schools throughout North Lanarkshire throughout Phase 1, 2 and 3 of the fund programmes. The charity are also actively delivering in Phase 4 of the fund programme which is due for completion in June 2024.

These services were delivered to meet the needs of North Lanarkshire’s Children and Young People which included individuals;


- impacted by complex adverse childhood experiences such as the death of a loved one, family breakdowns, child abuse and neglect, care experienced and more in addition to living within deprived communities.


- affected by Covid-19 and in need of support in building their confidence, self-esteem and awareness of mental health and wellbeing topics.


- experiencing stress and anxiety around prelim and exam periods


- needing support in the transition from primary to secondary school
